Guide to The Racing List

Your Path to Smarter Horse Racing

Welcome to the Racing List - your comprehensive companion for making informed decisions in horse racing. Whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned pro, this guide will walk you through our unique, data-driven approach that covers every horse, in every race, every day.

Understanding Our Core Philosophy

At Racing List, we believe in bringing clarity to the complex world of horse racing. Instead of relying on hunches or tips, we use pure statistical analysis to identify the strongest contenders in each race. Think of it as having a skilled analyst by your side, crunching numbers and spotting patterns that might not be immediately obvious.

The Bank Method: A new Approach

Starting Your Bank

One of our most powerful features is our disciplined bank method approach. Imagine your betting bank as a well-planned investment portfolio. We recommend starting with a 500-point total bank. But what does this mean in real terms?

Everyone has different ways to manage their money when it comes to betting on the horses. NEVER bet more than you can afford. To make this easier to understand, we always advise that people look at how much they would be willing to lose over a 3-5 month period - Not just in one day! This is usually the starting point to identify what your available bank is:

  • If you have £2,500 available: 1 point = £5
  • If you have £1,000 available: 1 point = £2
  • If you have £200 available: 1 point = 40p

Remember: Never risk more than you can afford to lose. Your point value should be based on your comfortable risk level.

Our Golden Betting Rule

We follow a simple but effective betting strategy:

  • For horses priced under 6/1: Place 1 point to win
  • For horses priced 6/1 or over: Place 0.5 points each way

Adjust your stakes - Every week

At the end of a week, add up everything you have won or lost. Add or subtract this to your available bank - Then adjust your stake accordingly

Example

  1. If you started with £500 Total then 1 point = £1
  2. After 1 week, you made £50 profit - Your new total is £510
  3. £510 divided by 500 = £1.10

Reading The Race Card

THE

We make it simple and clear

Our score cards are your window into each horse's potential. Here's what to look for... Each horse receives a score out of 100 - This represents their overall statistical strength. Higher scores indicate stronger statistical chances

We always show you the Top 5 first
